I am a five-time Olympian and Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist.

At 15, I finished school and got my trade as a fitter and turner. I have worked as a coal miner and most recently was manager for a medium sized machinery sales business that services the mining and agricultural sectors.

I am married to my wife Alex, and we are raising our two young girls together. I have worked hard my whole life to build a better future for myself, and my family. 

I will be a champion for the community and will stand up and be a strong voice for the Hunter.
